Durability: what IP67 really claims

IP67 is an ingress rating: protected against dust and able to withstand temporary immersion in water under defined conditions. For an outdoor pet device that is the rating buyers should look for, because it speaks to real field life rather than a vague "waterproof" sticker. Our outdoor products are built and tested to IP67 along with mechanical durability in mind, but the important discipline is that an ingress rating is model-specific — it is tied to a particular housing and seal design, not to a brand.

Radio: the marks that grant market access

FCC is mandatory for any radio-emitting device sold in the United States. CE covers the EU and, for wireless products, brings the radio directive alongside EMC and safety. RoHS and REACH govern hazardous substances and chemical content across the EU and many other markets. Because trackers and collars transmit, the relevant RF approvals matter as much as the ingress rating — a beautifully sealed device that has not cleared radio testing still cannot ship.
